Student vaccination reached 100% target
Rectorate, UIN News Online – The vaccination program for students and the general public which was held at the Student Center Building of UIN Jakarta ended today Friday (10/01/2021). The program that targeted as many as 2,000 doses of vaccine was exceeded in the first vaccination program.
The program, which took place from September 22 to October 1, 2021, was held in collaboration with UIN Jakarta and the South Tangerang Resort Police (Polres).
Henny Tansil, a doctor who volunteered for vaccination, said that the vaccination activities at UIN Jakarta had gone well and without any problems. Every day the number of people who are vaccinated reaches 100 to 150 people, both from students and the general public.
“We are grateful that the vaccination program has been well implemented. The number of vaccine doses provided is also in accordance with the target (2,000 doses -ed),” said Henny.
Based on UIN News Online observation, this vaccination program was enthusiastically followed by the students and the general public.. They started arriving in the morning and queued up to be vaccinated.
The vaccination program at UIN Jakarta which is being held for the sixth time is under the coordination of the Faculty of Medicine and the Faculty of Health Sciences of UIN Jakarta and involves Syarif Hidayatullah Hospital and the South Tangerang City Health Office.
In addition to the first vaccination which was held with the South Tangerang Police, at the same place, UIN Jakarta also held a second vaccination on September 26, 2021. This second vaccination was held in collaboration with UIN Jakarta and the Indonesian Ulema Council (MUI), Aksi Cepat Tanggap (ACT), Telkom Indonesia, the Indonesian National Nurses Association (PPNI), the South Tangerang City Government, the Pisangan Community Health Center, the East Ciputat Youth Organization, and the Putra Legoso Bersatu Foundation.
