Student of FEB Wins Trading Competition at IPB University

FEB, UIN News Online – Two students of the Faculty of Economics and Business (FEB) UIN Jakarta, Muhammad Ruvio Tama and Budi Santoso, managed to record proud achievements. Both of them won first place in the Nusantara Trading Competition held by the Department of Management, IPB University.

“We are proud to announce that Muhammad Ruvio Tama and Budi Santoso, won the first place in the Nusantara Trading Competition held by the Management Department of the IPB University,” said Deputy Dean of Student Affairs Mohammad Nur Rianto al-Arif on Tuesday (06/07/2022).

The national online trading competition was attended by 40 representative teams from various national universities. The competition started with an online competition using the Indo Primer Securitas application through a real account with a capital of IDR 150,000. The two students who were members of the Gain and Win Team managed to get first position for the elimination round of the top 20 teams.

After qualifying as the first winner in the top 20 group, Tama said, his party walked to the next round. In this round, Tama and Budi along with other teams were asked to write a paper that analyzed the trading process they did in the previous round. "We took ADARO shares in analyzing the movement of its shares," he said.

Of the 20 teams requested by the committee, the Gain and Win Team consisting of Tama and Budi managed to become one of the teams with the best paper along with the other four. Then, the five teams were asked to present the results of their paper analysis.

After going through a rigorous assessment process, Alhamdulillah we won first place,”said Tama.

The result was announced at the 7th Management Euphoria event at IPB University, Bogor, Saturday, June 4, 2022. The committee awarded them trophies, certificates, and incentive money for their accomplishment.

In response, Al Arif congratulated Ruvio and Budi for the achievements. According to him, this achievement shows the ability of FEB UIN Jakarta students to compete at the national level.
