Student of FDI UIN Jakarta Becomes a Delegate in International Youth Leader
FDI, UIN News Online – Nirmayanti, 6th semester student of the Faculty of Dirasat Islamiyah (FDI) UIN Jakarta became a delegate in the 38th International Youth Leader Chapter Kingdom of Saudi Arabia program. The program, which take place on March 3-12, 2022, is held in 3 cities, namely Jeddah, Medina, and Mecca. This program is organized by CV. International Youth Leader who works closely with the local government of Saudi Arabia and supported by the Indonesian Ministry of Education and Culture.
International Youth Leader is a training and education platform in the field of halal leadership camp exchange programs, tours and travel. This program aims to shape leadership characteristics, to introduce Indonesian culture in Saudi Arabia, to develop and increase the love for Allah through the Qur'an and Hadith, and to form entrepreneurial skills.
When asked about her motivation for joining this program, Nirma replied, “I want to explore my abilities, improve my scientific capabilities, and deepen my sirah nabawiyah, and I also want to motivate my friends that we as young people must take advantage of our youth, because time will not repeat itself,” said Nirma.
Nirma admitted was very happy because she was able to visit the Holy Land, namely Makkah and Madinah, and another city, namely Jeddah. “I am very proud that I got a lot of knowledge, insight, and new experiences,” she said.
She also wants to thank to all elements who have helped her in joining this program. “I thank the International Youth Leaders who have given me the opportunity, the UIN Jakarta, the Dean of the Faculty of Dirasat Islamiyah, Pak Syairozi Dimyati, and all the people who have supported me,” she said.
