Student Affairs Division Holds Leadership Management Training

Diorama Room, UIN News Online – Student Affairs division of UIN Jakarta holds Leadership Management Training, Monday, (03/19/2018) at Diorama Room, Campus I of UIN Jakarta and attended by representatives of the student activity unit (UKM). Present in the event, Vice Rector for General Administration of UIN Jakarta Prof Dr Abdul Hamid and AAKK Bureau Chief of UIN Jakarta Drs H Zaenal Arifin MPdI.

In his remarks, Zaenal expected by this activity, the participants can develop themselves in order to become a great leader.

“Great leaders are a person with high integrity, great leader also focusses on supporting others. Supportive leaders will inspire their colleagues to overcome every challenge,” said Zaenal.

On the same occasion, Vice Rector of General Administration UIN Jakarta Prof Dr Abdul Hamid provide materials on Muslim leadership to the participants.

“In carrying out leadership, we must follow the example of Prophet Muhammad SAW. Prophet Muhammad SAW combines authority and power with mercy and gentleness. His leadership style made him the most influential person ever,” said Abdul Hamid.

Furthermore, Abdul Hamid also added that in becoming Islamic Leaders we must refer to the Qur’an and Hadith. “Being a leader is an option, it cannot be forced. After becoming an Islamic leader, we must adhere to two main references, namely the Qur'an and al-Hadith. Thus, it will generate a professional Islamic leader,” he added. (usa)
