Student Achievement Award (SAA) 2024: UIN Jakarta's Support to Enhance Student Achievement
Harun Nasution Auditorium, UIN News Online — UIN Syarif Hidayatullah Jakarta reaffirms its commitment in supporting the progress of student achievement through the organization of Student Achievement Award (SAA) 2024. The event took place at Harun Nasution Auditorium, Thursday (31/10/2024) as a form of appreciation and motivation for students to continue to develop and excel.
The event began with the reading of the Rector's Decree on the Student Achievement Award by the Head of the Bureau of Academic Administration, Student Affairs, and Cooperation, Dr. Sri Ilham Lubis, Lc., M.Pd. The reading of the decree emphasized the importance of this award as a first step in supporting students who have made achievements in various fields.
In his speech, UIN Jakarta Rector, Prof. Asep Saepudin Jahar, M.A., Ph.D., emphasized that the Student Achievement Award event is a tangible form of UIN Jakarta's commitment in encouraging and improving student achievement. “This is the first form of our support so that UIN Jakarta students can continue to improve their achievements and continue to develop the knowledge they have gained on this campus,” said Prof. Asep.
The Rector hopes that the awardees can continue to be an inspiration for their peers and contribute positively in their fields of study.
The Student Achievement Award (SAA) itself consists of several categories that cover various aspects of student achievement. Some of these categories include awards for 30 juz Quran memorizers; achievements in academic and non-academic competitions or competitions; creative, innovative, and distingictive works in the fields of art, technology, and writing, such as making applications, inventions, writing books (already published and with ISBN), setting records, and publishing papers in print/electronic media. In addition, other categories include active participation as a speaker or presenter, as well as social action, humanitarian, environmental, educational, and volunteer roles.
The event was also attended by university leaders, including Vice Rector for Academic Affairs Prof. Dr. Ahmad Tholabi, S.Ag., S.H., M.H., M.A., Vice Rector for General Administration Prof. Dr. Imam Subchi, M.A., Vice Rector for Student Affairs Prof. Ali Munhanif, M.A., Ph.D., and Vice Rector for Cooperation and Institutionalization Din Wahid, M.A., Ph.D. The presence of university leaders in this event shows UIN Jakarta's commitment to continue encouraging student achievement in academics, research, and community service.
By organizing the Student Achievement Award, UIN Jakarta hopes to build a healthy spirit of competition among students and provide motivation for them to excel and excel in the national and international arena.
