Strengthening Partnerships and Internships, UIN Jakarta Successfully Holds Workshop on Drafting Guidelines for Partnerships and Internships

Syahida Inn, UIN News Online UI — N Jakarta successfully held a workshop on the preparation of guidelines for cooperation and internship at Syahida Inn, UIN Jakarta on Wednesday (02/10/2024).

Vice Rector for Cooperation, Din Wahid, M.A., Ph.D., led and opened the event. In his speech, he expressed his pride and happiness because this workshop will be a new learning to build cooperation with various parties for students to various industries. 

“This workshop was attended directly by speakers from Batam State Polytechnic and I am very proud and happy at this time. I hope, after this activity UIN Jakarta can implement the material exposure regarding strengthening cooperation and internships,” said Din Wahid.

This activity was attended by the main speaker, Deputy Director for Student Affairs, Alumni and Cooperation of Batam State Polytechnic, Dr. H. Muhammad Zaenuddin, S.Si., M.Sc., moderated by the Vice Dean for Student Affairs and Cooperation, Faculty of Health UIN Jakarta, Dr. Uswatun Khasanah, M.N.S., and representatives of each Faculty of UIN Jakarta in the field of cooperation.

Dr. Muhammad Zaenuddin, S.Si., M.Sc., delivered material that focused on the importance of industry partnerships in the implementation of internships, where internships are considered an important part of campus academics, but implemented in industry. He gave the example of Batam as an industrial city and emphasized the learning revolution in the curriculum as well as the work safety of students at the internship site. The internship management unit at Batam State Polytechnic was also mentioned as an important part in managing student internships.

Then he hopes that this strengthening of cooperation and internship activities can bring changes and can be implemented in real terms by UIN Jakarta. 

“With the presentation of material and several examples from Batam State Polytechnic, I hope that UIN Jakarta will immediately implement this cooperation strengthening program plan,” explained Muhammad Zaenuddin.

This activity is expected to be able to develop cooperation and internships within the scope of UIN Jakarta, and can strengthen the cooperation between UIN Jakarta and Batam State Polytechnic.
