Strengthening Internationalisation and World Research Tradition, UIN Jakarta Holds Visiting Professor 2024 Programme

Rectorate Building, UIN News Online- UIN Syarif Hidayatullah Jakarta reinforces its steps as a world-class university by holding a Visiting Professor 2024 programme. This programme presents a number of leading academics from various countries, who will share knowledge and experience with UIN Jakarta's academic community through research, seminars, and various other academic activities.

Head of LP2M UIN Jakarta, Prof. Amelia Fauzia, M.A., Ph.D., at the Rector Building (Friday, 27/09/2024) in her official statement stated that this programme is one of the strategic efforts to encourage the internationalisation of UIN Jakarta while strengthening the tradition of world-class research. ‘We hope that the presence of these professors will not only provide inspiration, but also become an opportunity for faculties at UIN Jakarta to establish research collaborations, invite them as seminar speakers, and increase other academic activities,’ said Prof Amelia.

Furthermore, Professor Amelia hopes that this programme is expected to broaden the horizons and international networks for lecturers, students, and researchers at UIN Jakarta. In addition, this activity is an important momentum for UIN Jakarta to show its commitment in producing competent and globally competitive graduates.
