Strengthening Education Ecosystem, FITK UIN Jakarta Explores Strategic Collaboration with Casio/Asaba

FITK Building, UIN News Online — The Faculty of Tarbiyah and Teacher Training (FITK) of UIN Syarif Hidayatullah Jakarta continues to strengthen its educational ecosystem by exploring strategic collaboration opportunities with Casio/Asaba, a well-known educational technology and calculator distributor in Indonesia.

The initiative was held at the FITK building on Friday (30/01/2026) and involved faculty leadership and representatives from Casio/Asaba. The meeting is part of FITK’s broader efforts to enhance innovation in learning, strengthen academic activities, and expand industry-based educational collaboration.

Expanding Innovation in Teaching and Learning

FITK leadership emphasized that collaboration with industry partners is essential to create a more adaptive and modern learning environment. The faculty views such partnerships as a way to improve both academic quality and student competencies in line with current educational needs.

The collaboration is expected to support the development of more interactive learning media, strengthen digital-based education tools, and enhance classroom innovation across study programs within FITK.

Casio/Asaba’s Role in Educational Support

Representatives from Casio/Asaba expressed their openness to developing long-term collaboration with FITK UIN Jakarta. As a major distributor of Casio educational products in Indonesia, Asaba has been actively involved in supporting educational institutions through learning tools and technological solutions.

They highlighted the potential for creating a dedicated collaborative space—such as a Casio Corner—that could serve as an educational hub for students and lecturers to explore innovative teaching methods and learning technologies.

Building a Sustainable Collaboration Framework

Both parties agreed that the partnership should move beyond initial discussions toward a formal Cooperation Agreement (MoU/PKS). The collaboration is expected to cover several areas, including:

  • Academic and learning support activities
  • Lecturer and student training programs
  • Development of educational media and tools
  • Creation of collaborative learning spaces within the faculty
  • Strengthening innovation-based educational programs

Toward a More Adaptive Education Ecosystem

Through this initiative, FITK UIN Jakarta aims to further develop an innovative, inclusive, and sustainable education ecosystem. The faculty continues to position itself as a center for excellence in teacher training by integrating educational theory, Islamic values, and technological advancement.

The collaboration with Casio/Asaba marks another step in FITK’s commitment to enhancing educational quality and preparing future educators who are competent, creative, and globally competitive.
