Strategic Leadership: UIN Jakarta Student Body Hosts 30th Anniversary Gala and Secures Presidium of National Islamic Student Network

Harun Nasution Auditorium, UIN Online News – Marking three decades of institutional influence, the Campus Dakwah Organization (LDK Syahid) at UIN Syarif Hidayatullah Jakarta successfully celebrated its 30th Anniversary. Carrying the thematic title “Glimpse of Radiant Years: Nurturing the Warmth of Brotherhood, Carving the Brilliance of Da'wah,” the commemorative assembly was engineered as a high-impact reunification forum consolidating all generational elements of the organization, held at the Harun Nasution Auditorium on Sunday, June 7, 2026.

The gala drew over 650 registered participants, comprising founding alumni from the inaugural 1995 cohort to active student executives from the 2026 class. The massive cross-generational turnout represented members spanning all 12 major faculties within UIN Jakarta, including FITK, FAH, FDIKOM, FST, FSH, FEB, FU, FDI, FPsi, FIKES, FK, and FISIP.

Alumnus of the Faculty of Dirasat Islamiyah and contemporary Dean of the Faculty of Ushuluddin at PTIQ Jakarta University, Dr. Andi Rahman, delivered an academic reflection asserting that monumental civilizations are never built single-handedly by isolated figures, but through the joint, aggregated contributions of individuals across education and social advocacy sectors.

“Great civilizations are birthed through the collective contribution of ordinary individuals acting consistently via education and grassroots social advocacy. Consequently, the youth hold a vital systemic responsibility to occupy critical roles and deliver tangible benefits to their surroundings, regardless of the initial scale of their contribution,” he declared.

Dr. Rahman added that young religious advocates must carefully balance ideological enthusiasm with deep academic and scientific competency. A broad, sophisticated intellectual horizon ensures that the ethical values broadcasted to society remain analytical, highly inclusive, and socially well-received.

The 3rd General Chairman of LDK Syahid, Gozali Rahman, reflected on the institutional culture of the organization, praising its inclusive environment that operates completely free from rigid senior-junior barriers, allowing diverse age groups to collaborate on public welfare projects.

Echoing this sentiment, the 6th General Chairman, Ahmad Zaki al Hafizh, urged the contemporary executive board to consistently position LDK Syahid as a welcoming greenhouse for personal development and character incubation across the university ecosystem.

The Organizing Chairman of the 30th Anniversary, Muhammad Syafiq Radyan, clarified that the main milestone of the event was to foster structured knowledge transfers between established professional alumni and active undergraduate students. He noted that the networking generated during the gala is engineered to transition into long-term professional mentorship pipelines.

The peak of the anniversary session arrived when the Official Advisor of LDK Syahid, apt. Barita Juliana Siregar, delivered a historic national administrative announcement. She officially ratified Razaq Hammam Alamsyah as the General Chairman of the National Communication Center (Puskomnas) for the Indonesian National Campus Dakwah Forum (FSLDK) for the 2026–2028 administration cycle.

This prestigious appointment follows a national vote at the XXII FSLDKN Summit convened in Malang, East Java, on Saturday, May 9, 2026, where UIN Jakarta’s LDK Syahid was formally elected to hold the national presidium and act as the central hosting headquarters for the entire network of Islamic student organizations across Indonesia. This national victory cements UIN Jakarta's position as a premier, trendsetting hub for youth leadership and progressive religious development in the country.
