STF UIN Jakarta Distributed Scholarship for Students

Ciputat, UIN News Online – Social Trust Fund (STF) UIN Jakarta distributed scholarship for 16 students of UIN Jakarta. This scholarship is expected to ease the tuition fee of the students.

The scholarship itself was handed over directly by STF Director Dr Amelia Fauzia MA and Deputy Director of STF Muhammad Zuhdi Ph.D at STF UIN Jakarta office, Friday (1/5/2018). Also present in the event, Fundraising Manager Cut Erika A.F MBA and Chief Operating Officer STF UIN Jakarta Emi Ilmiah MA.

“Congratulations on your success in obtaining the scholarship from public donations entrusted to UIN Jakarta,” she said.

Based on STF data, scholarship recipients come from various faculties in UIN Jakarta. They are Agung Perdana (FU/V), Asri Nurhidayah (FEB/V), Diah Puji Ayu Astuti (FITK/V), Eneng Siti Nurhaya (FST/V), Faizah Fitri (FITK/III), Hasin Abdullah (FSH/V), Latifa Rahmi (FDI/V), Lutfia Nur Q (FITK/III), M. Ilham Lukman Hakim (FSH/V), Nubzah Tsaniyah (FIDIKOM/III), Nada Fadilah  (FDI/III), Oktavia Sari (FEB/III), Suparman (FSH/V), Sulaiman Ramdani (FSH/III), Siska Meilinda (FIDIKOM/III), and Herdian Indra Susila (FISIP/III).

Amelia also added, the provision of scholarship funds is expected to foster their motivation to spread the good for others. This is because the scholarship they obtained also comes from the public donations.

“Do not thank to STF, Be grateful to the people who have entrusted you with their kindness by helping people in need,” said Amelia to the scholarship recipients.

Meanwhile, Zuhdi also provide motivation for scholarship recipients. According to him, the recipients are lucky, because there are many students out there who have to bear the tuition fee by themselves.

Therefore, Zuhdi suggested the recipients to maximize the scholarship by studying harder. "Use this opportunity as best you can. Learn in the classroom and be active as a student, because success is not determined merely academic performance, but also the experience," he explained. (usa)
