STF UIN Jakarta Awarded by BAZNAS RI as the Best Zakat Collection Unit among Educational Institutions

Jakarta, UIN Online News — The Zakat Collection Unit (UPZ) of the School of Philosophy (STF) at Syarif Hidayatullah State Islamic University Jakarta was honored as the Best Educational Institution Zakat Unit at the 2025 UPZ Award, hosted by the National Zakat Collection Agency (BAZNAS) of Indonesia.

The award was presented during the 2025 National Working Meeting of UPZs held in Bogor on Wednesday (September 10, 2025). The prestigious event recognized 120 institutions, including government ministries, state and private enterprises, and educational institutions, for their significant contributions in managing alms.

In his remarks, H. Mokhamad Mahdum, Vice Chairman of BAZNAS, expressed deep appreciation to all award recipients.

“We extend our gratitude to every institution for their concrete efforts in strengthening zakat collection and management nationwide. UPZs play a vital role in expanding zakat services with transparency and accountability, in line with BAZNAS’ strategic vision,” he stated.

STF UIN Jakarta received the recognition alongside Gunadarma University and As-Syafi’iyah Islamic University, reaffirming its strong commitment as an UPZ to support equitable and sustainable education.

In response to the award, STF UIN Jakarta conveyed its gratitude to donors, partners, and all parties who have supported the campus’s educational philanthropy movement. This achievement is expected to further strengthen STF UIN Jakarta’s efforts in delivering broader benefits for the community and the nation.
