SPs UIN Jakarta Screens 54 Prospective Students

SPs, UIN News Online – 54 people participated in SPs UIN Jakarta admission test on January 29-30, 2019. The applicants consisted of 31 people for Master’s program (S2) and 23 people for Doctoral program (S3). They come from various universities, whether private or state universities throughout Indonesia.

The Sub-division head General Administration Affairs SPs UIN Jakarta Asriati explained that the selection process is carried out strictly, it was intended to maintain the quality of graduates. “The selection process is quite strict. They need to compete for limited number of seats,” as she explained to UIN News Online on Tuesday, (01/29/2019).

The first day of selection test will be carried out in the form written test which includes TOEFL, TOAFL and Academic Potential Test. As for the second day, it will be carried out in the form of oral test which includes thesis/dissertation proposal test, English and Arabic reading test as well as Islamic Knowledge.

According to Asriati, the selection result will be announced on February 8, 2019. For those who passed the selection test are required to re-register on February, 8-15, 2019. “The class will begin in March, 2019,” she concluded. (usa)
