SPs UIN Jakarta officially closed the new student orientation period

SPs, UIN News Online – Graduate School (SPs) of UIN Jakarta officially closed the new student orientation period for 2019/2020 academic year in SPs UIN Jakarta Auditorium, Wednesday, (02/27/2019). Present in the event, SPs UIN Jakarta Master’s Department Head Dr JM Muslimin and his secretary Usep Abdul Matin

New student orientation was held on February 25-27, 2018 and followed by 69 participants consisting of 27 doctoral program (S3) and 42 master’s program (S2).

JM Muslimin in his speech expressed his gratitude to the participant who have followed the activities that have become one routine agenda of SPs UIN Jakarta.

“The orientation is aimed to introduce the culture in SPs UIN Jakarta so that students can understand the system and learning mechanism. Therefore, SPs UIN Jakarta has different academic and learning standards with other graduate schools,” he said.

Furthermore, JM Muslimin advised that new students can take advantage of opportunities while studying in SPs UIN Jakarta. Students must be able to develop their scientific skills through various scientific research, integrity and good academic tradition.

“Also avoid other forms of academic violations such as plagiarism,” he said.

For information, this orientation activity is filled with academic and institutional introduction activities, scientific writing, preparation for thesis / dissertation proposals, and information related to academic technical issues, introduction to Academic Information System (AIS). (usa)
