SPAN PTKIN, UIN Jakarta Most Selected as the Main Choice

Rectorate, UIN NEWS Online - UIN Jakarta ranks first in the on the SPAN PTKIN selection entry test. Based on data per March 21, 2018 at 07:57 WIB obtained from Public Relations UIN Jakarta, Wednesday (03/21/2018), the total number of applicants reached 16,720 participants from three major PTKIN voters across Indonesia. While the other two PTKIN most as a choice of PTKIN 1 is UIN Yogyakarta (13,848 registrants) and UIN Bandung (13,054 registrants).

In addition to being selected as PTKIN 1, UIN Jakarta is also selected as a choice of PTKIN 2 by all stakeholders throughout Indonesia. However, in the choice of PTKIN 2, UIN Jakarta ranks second after UIN Yogyakarta, which is 15,323 participants. UIN Yogyakarta obtained the number of registrants as many as 15,575 participants, while UIN Bandung obtained a number of 12,791 participants.

According to the Head of Public Relations UIN Jakarta Feni Arifiani MH, the number of applicants and applicants in the SPAN path PTKIN seems to continue to move until the registration is closed on 29 March. On this path, the number of study programs (prodi) offered in UIN Jakarta is 30 religious programs.

"SPAN path of PTKIN specifically for religious study program, while for general programs we select via SNMPTN line," he said.

For its own study program, UIN Jakarta as the choice of PTKIN 1 and the first choice of study program, the biggest enthusiasts are in three study programs: Syariah Banking (2,130 participants), Syariah Economics (1,832 participants), and Islamic Broadcasting Communication (1,625 participants). Meanwhile, as the second-choice program, the largest figures are in the same study program, namely Islamic Banking (2,152 participants), Sharia Economics (1,774 participants), and Islamic Broadcasting Communication (1,234 participants).

As for UIN Jakarta as the choice of PTKIN 2, the first choice of study program is Syariah Banking (2,006 participants), Sharia Economics (1,685 participants), and Islamic Broadcasting Communication (1,223 participants). Then as the second-choice program is Sharia Banking (1,782 participants), Sharia Economics (1,542 participants), and Islamic Broadcasting Communications (969 participants).

Online registration of SPAN path PTKIN is open since March 1, 2018 and will be closed on March 29, 2018. This line is based on academic achievement ability or highest score of each student's report card at the school of origin. Participants SPAN PTKIN is a state Islamic universities under the Ministry of Religious Affairs, namely UIN, IAIN, and STAIN throughout Indonesia. (usa-rs)
