SPAN PTKIN SPAN enthusiasts reach 8,000 participants

Rectorate, UIN NEWS Online – Interested applicant of UIN Jakarta through State Islamic Religious College Performance Based Recruitment (SPAN PTKIN) continues to increase. The biggest enthusiasts are in the Sharia Banking Study Program which reaches more than 8,000 participants.

Latest data from Public Relations UIN Jakarta until Wednesday (21/3/2018) at 07:57 pm the enthusiasts reached 64,082 participants. The highest interest was in the Islamic Banking Study Program until it reached 8,070 participants and the Sharia Economics as many as 6,833 participants.

Head of Public Relations UIN Jakarta Feni Arifiani MH explains, the entry of SPAN SPK PTKIN is high. This is evident from the number of applicants who reached more than 6,000 participants. Whereas the number will continue to grow as new student admission continues.

"But of the large number of applicant is not necessarily they accepted because they must verify the file first. In addition, given the high interest, the number of quota in each study program was limited, so there must be eliminated according to the rank of achievement, "he said.

According to Feni, SPAN path PTKIN is a college entrance selection based on student report cards. This line is opened nationally and only followed by PTKIN under the auspices of Ministry of Religious Affairs, namely UIN, IAIN, and STAIN. The courses offered in this course are all areas of religious studies.

UIN Jakarta through SPAN PTKIN offers 30 courses with total quota of 1,860 participants. The number of quotas in each course range from 20-160 seats. The largest quota is in the Communication Studies Program of Islamic Broadcasting (160 seats), while the lowest quota is in the Law and Constitutional Studies Program or Siyasah (20 seats). (usa)
