SPAN PTKIN admission will be open in February

Rectorate, UIN News Online – The National Academic Achievement Selection for State Islamic Higher Education (SPAN PTKIN) enrollment for UIN Jakarta academic year 2020/2021. will be opened in February 2020. The quota for each PTKIN in enrollment type is only 20 percent of the total revenue selection outside the SNMPTN and SBMPTN enrollment type.

Based on UIN Jakarta’s PR release, Tuesday (01/07/2020), the admission process for the SPAN PTKIN enrollment is carried out in several stages. The first stage, registration begins with the filling and verification of the Student and School Database (PDSS). Data entry is open online from 6-31 January 2020 through https://pdss.span-ptkin.ac.id. This provision applies to schools that already have a National School Number (NPSN). As for schools that do not yet have an NPSN, are required to register in advance by sending a request to the e-mail address info@span-ptkin.ac.id.

The second phase, the school then registers it to the address span-ptkin.ac.id on 3-28 February 2020. After that, the incoming data will be selected by the national committee team in two stages, the first stage on 2-13 March 2020 and the second stage on March 16-20, 2020. The results of the PTKIN SPAN selection will be announced on April 10, 2020 and will then be re-registered at each PTKIN.

SPAN PTKIN is a PTKIN admission selection based on the value of academic achievement or other achievements of students. This selection was attended by 58 PTKIN in Indonesia, 17 UIN, 32 IAIN, and 9 STAIN.

Another stipulation in this is that prospective students are only allowed to choose one study program in two PTKIN or two study programs in one PTKIN. While all study programs chosen are religious study programs

To this day, UIN Jakarta has not provided an explanation of the available religious studies programs. “The Jakarta UIN Committee has not yet held a meeting. Insha Allah, it will be delivered very soon,” said the Sub-division head for Publication and Documentary UIN Jakarta, Samsudin. (usa/ns)
