SPAN-PTKIN 2025 Registration Procedures: Important Steps for Prospective Students

Rectorate, UIN Online News - Registration for the 2025 National Academic Achievement Selection of State Islamic Religious Higher Education Institutions (SPAN PTKIN) has been opened. The following are the steps that must be taken by prospective students:

  1. Student Account Registration: Prospective students are required to register an account through https://siswa.ptkin.ac.id/web/site/login. If registration is successful, a password will be sent to the email submitted during registration. Make sure to check your inbox, spam, social, or promotions folder.
  2. Student Account Login: After obtaining the password, prospective students will be able to access the https://span.ptkin.ac.id page, then select the student login menu. Enter NISN, password from email, and verification code provided.
  3. Update Student Biodata: At this stage, prospective students are required to upload their photo with a maximum size of 500KB. Please note that uploading can only be done once, so make sure the uploaded pic is correct. Next, prospective students will be asked to verify their profile data. If there is an error, immediately contact the education unit or school operator to correct the data via vervalpd/Emis. Data will be synchronized in the SPAN PTKIN system within 1x24 hours. In addition, prospective students are required to fill in the data marked with a (*) sign. For prospective students who are memorizers of the Qur'an, there is a column to upload certificates or other proof of memorization. Parent data also needs to be filled in before saving all information.
  4. Check Student Grades:  Prospective students must carefully check the grades displayed on the report card menu. Ensure that the grades in the system and the physical report card documents accurately match. If there are any differences, immediately contact the school to make corrections.
  5. Upload Student Report Card Photo/Scan: At this stage, prospective students are required to upload report card documents in PDF format with a maximum size of 500KB. Make sure the document is clearly visible with no blur. Uploads must accordingly match to the class and the semester: Grade 10 Semester 1 and 2, Grade 11 Semester 1 and 2, Grade 12 Semester 1.
  6. Select PTKIN and Study Program: Prospective students are required to select two State Islamic Religious Colleges (PTKIN) or State Universities (PTN), and select two study programs for each PTKIN/PTN option.
  7. Achievements (Optional): If prospective students have achievements during high school, they can upload a maximum of two best achievements. Achievement documents can be uploaded in JPG, JPEG, or PDF format with a maximum size of 1MB.
  8. Student Registration Survey: Before finalization, prospective students are required to fill out the registration survey by selecting answers according to personal experience and providing suggestions for improvement.
  9. Finalization and Printing of PTKIN SPAN Registrant Card: Before finalization, make sure all data is complete and correct because it cannot be changed permanently thereafter. After the finalization step, the print card button will appear. Click the button to download the SPAN PTKIN 2025 registrant card.

By following the steps above, prospective students can complete the 2025 SPAN PTKIN registration smoothly and without any obstacles. Make sure each stage is carried out carefully so that no errors occur that can hinder the selection process.

For information, in SPAN PTKIN 2025, UIN Jakarta offers at least 30 study programs spread across a number of faculties.

  1. Faculty of Tarbiyah and Teacher Training (FITK) offers study programs: Islamic Religious Education, Arabic Language Education, English Language Education, Biology Education, Physics Education, Educational Management, Indonesian Language Education, Social Studies Education, Primary Teacher Education, and Early Childhood Islamic Education.
  2. Faculty of Adab and Humanities offers study programs: Arabic Language and Literature, Islamic Civilization and History, and Translation.
  3. Faculty of Ushuluddin offers study programs: Religious Studies, Quranic Studies, Hadith Studies, Islamic Creed and Philosophy, and Sufism.
  4. Faculty of Sharia and Law (FSH) offers study programs: Islamic Family Law (Ahwal Syakhshiyyah), Comparative Maddhab, Constitutional Law (Siyasah), Islamic Criminal Law (Jinayah), and Islamic Economic Law (Mua`malah).
  5. Faculty of Da'wah and Communication Sciences (FDIKOM) offers study programs Islamic Communication and Broadcasting, Islamic Counselling and Guidance, Da'wa Management, and Islamic Community Development.
  6. Faculty of Economics and Business offers study programs in: Sharia Banking, and Sharia Economics.
  7. Faculty of Dirasat Islamiyah only offers Dirasat Islamiyah program.

These diverse study programs are recognised for several benefits such as exceptional accreditation and teaching profiles of the lecturers who are world class scientists and former Indonesian minister.

Starting from the Faculty of Tarbiyah and Teacher Training (FITK), it is handled by Professor Maila Dinia Husnie Rahim and Professor Abdul Mu’ti, two visionaries behind the development of this faculty.

Professor Maila, a faculty member of FITK, holds the title of Professor of Social Welfare and Early Childhood Education. She is an educator of worldwide academic, and also recognised as one of the few Indonesian women scientists ranked in The World's Top 2% Scientists 2024 by Elsevier and compiled by Stanford University.

Professor Abdul Mu’ti has been acknowledged as an academician for his many significant contributions to the academic community of UIN Jakarta. In 2024, he was appointed as the Minister of Primary and Secondary Education in Indonesia, responsible for enhancing the quality of primary and secondary education in the nation.

Within the Faculty of Ushuluddin, several professors are esteemed experts known for their skills and accomplishments in both academic and religious domains. Notable individuals include: Dr. Ahsin Sakho, Professor Dr. Said Agil Husin al-Munawar, and Professor Dr. Nasaruddin Umar.

Ahsin Sakho serves as a professor in the Quranic Studies and Tafsir department and the warden of the Daar al-Quran Islamic boarding institution. He obtained Bachelor's degree, Master's degree, and Doctoral degree in Quran wa Dirasat Islamiyah at the Islamic University of Madinah. He is among the few Indonesian scholars acknowledged for his proficiency in the field of Seven Styles of Reading Quran (Qiraah Sab'ah)

Professor Dr. Said Agil Husin al-Munawar is his colleague at the Faculty of Ushuluddin. He is also a distinguished Indonesian scholar, recognised for his proficiency in Quranic interpretation (Tafsir al-Quran) and Principles of Islamic Jurisprudence (Usul al-Fiqh). He was a renowned disciple of Sheikh Yasin Al-Fadani Al-Hasani and was appointed as the Minister of Religious Affairs of the Republic of Indonesia on 2001 until 2004.

Finally, Professor Nasaruddin Umar, a lecturer at the Faculty of Ushuluddin, is a master of the Quranic Interpretation. With his distinguished social-religious career, he also served as the Chairman of the Central Management of As'adiyah Sengkang Islamic Boarding School, Deputy Minister of Religious Affairs of the Republic of Indonesia on 2011 until 2014, Grand Imam of Istiqlal Mosque. As for now, he serves as the Minister of Religious Affairs of the Republic of Indonesia since 2024.
