SPAN PTKIN 2020: These are the Four Most Favourite Study Programs at UIN Jakarta

Ciputat, UIN News Online – Four study programs at UIN Jakarta have made it to the top 10 most favourite study programs for the SPAN PTKIN 2020. Together with 59 PTKIN-PTN, UIN Jakarta itself offers 30 study programs through this enrollment type.

Based on data released by the National Committee on Wednesday (04/08/2020), the four study programs are the Sharia Economics Study Program, the Sharia Banking Study Program, the Islamic Broadcast Communication Study Program, and the Education Management Study Program.

Sharia Economics Study Program was chosen by 3360 registrants and Sharia Banking Study Program was chosen by 2963 registrants. The other two, the Islamic Broadcast Communication Study Program were chosen by 2469 registrants and the Educational Management Study Program were chosen by 2055 registrants.

Six other favorite study programs are listed four different PTKIN. Fourth, UIN Yogyakarta as many as 3 study programs (Islamic Financial Management, Islamic Religious Education, and Islamic Accounting), UIN Bandung 1 Study Program (Islamic Financial Management), UIN Surabaya 1 Study Program (Islamic Economics), and UIN Makassar 1 Study Program (Pharmacy).

Nationally, the total number of registrants for the SPAN PTKIN reached 263,062 registrants. UIN Jakarta UIN Jakarta recorded the number of registrants entering through SPAN-PTKIN as many as 51,724 prospective students.

Separately, the Rector of UIN Jakarta Amany Lubis said she was grateful for the high number of registrants entering UIN Jakarta through this route. This number indicates the high expectations of the community to make UIN Jakarta as a learning destination.

“Therefore, UIN Jakarta must continue to provide the best educational services for younger generations in achieving their success in the future,” said Rector.

It is known that SPAN PTKIN is one of the main enrolment type offered by UIN Jakarta. Admission of prospective students on this type is based on the selection of academic achievements using report cards and other achievements, without a written test.

Through SPAN PTKIN, UIN Jakarta this year offers 30 study programs. Among them are Sharia Banking Study Program, Sharia Economic Study Program, Indonesian Language Education Study Program, Physics Education Study Program, Al-Quran Science Study Study and Hadith, and Study of Religion Studies.
