Social Welfare study program is awarded with an “A” accreditation status

Rectorate, UIN News Online – Social Welfare study program of the Da’wa and Communication Science Faculty (Fidikom) UIN Jakarta is awarded with an “A” accreditation status from from the National Accreditation Board for Higher Education (BAN-PT). This has further strengthened public confidence in choosing quality study programs at UIN Jakarta.

Based on Fidikom press release, Monday (01/25/2021), the accreditation status was based on BAN-PT Decree Number 7671/SK/BAN-PT/Akred/S/XI/2020. The accreditation period is valid for five years until  November 24th, 2025.

Vice Dean for Academic Affairs, Fidikom UIN Jakarta Siti Napsiyah, expressed her gratitude for this accomplishment. According to Stiti, this is a proud achievement, not only for Fidikom but also for UIN Jakarta.

She also added that this achievements were inseparable from the role and efforts of the committee team in preparing forms during the accreditation process, from data collection to assessor visitations.

“Alhamdulillah, we are proud that we receive the highest grade accreditation status from the BAN-PT. Hopefully other study programs at Fidikom UIN Jakarta also get the best accreditation status,” she said.

For information, Social Welfare study program was founded in 2003 and obtained a permit to organize the study program in 2011. This study program produces muslim scholar who have excellence in the field of social welfare. Currently, there are more than 1,000 graduates of the Social Welfare Study Program who work in various professional fields, both as social workers, social policy analysts, social researchers, and bureaucrats.
