SNMPTN 2022, UIN Jakarta Attracts 12,345 Applicants

Rectorate, UIN News Online – The National Selection for State University Admission or SNMPTN enrollment type for the 2022 academic year has successfully recruited 12,345 applicants. This number enrolls in 26 study programs offered by UIN Jakarta through the SNMPTN enrollment type.

“Alhamdulillah, the enthusiasm of prospective new students who enroll to UIN Jakarta via SNPMTN is quite high,” said the Head of Academic Affairs division of UIN Jakarta Feni Arifiani to UIN News Online on Tuesday, (03/15/2022).

Feni explained that the 12,345 were also divided into two categories, the category of first-choice applicants was 7,062 people and the category of second-choice applicants was 5,283 people. It is known that SNMPTN applicants can choose two study programs from one or two universities.

In the 2022 SNMPTN, UIN Jakarta offers 26 study programs. In detail, 14 study programs for the Science and Technology group (Saintek) and 12 study programs for the Social Humanities (Soshum) group.

The 14 study programs of the Science and Technology group include Agribusiness, Informatics Engineering, Information Systems, Mathematics, Biology, Physics, Chemistry, Public Health, Pharmacy, Nursing Science, Physician Education, Mathematics Education, Chemistry Education, and Mining Engineering.

While the 12 study programs of the Soshum group are Accounting, Economics and Development Studies, International Relations, Law, Library Science, Management Science, Political Science. Then, Social Welfare, Psychology, Sociology, and English Language and Literature.

Of the 26 study programs offered at the 2022 SNMPTN, Psychology got the most applicants of 1,235 people, Management 1.115 applicants, Nursing Science 893 applicants, and Pharmacy 811 applicants. Followed by Informatics Engineering 728 applicants, Physician Education 647 applicants, and Accounting 601 applicants. (zm/usa)
