SMM-PTN-Barat Enrollment Will be Opened in Early April 2022

Rectorate, UIN News Online – The Independent Enrollment to Western Indonesian State Universities (SMM PTN-Barat) enrollmment type will be opened on April 1, 2022. In this enrollment type, UIN Jakarta offers as many as 26 general study programs spread across eight faculties. SMM PTN-Barat is a joint selection system which is participated by 25 PTN (State University) in the western part of Indonesia. This selection system is open to prospective students graduating from SMA/MA/SMK or equivalent and package C majoring in Science and Social Sciences and having a diploma in 2022, 2021, and 2020.

However, for certain PTNs, there are varying graduation year requirements. For example, Raja Ali Haji Maritime University (UMRAH), Jambi University (Unja), Teuku Umar University (UTU), and Malikussaleh University (Unimal) the year of diploma is the last five years (2018, 2019, 2020, 2021, and 2022), the Art Institute and Indonesian Culture (ISBI) Aceh received a diploma for the last 10 years, starting with a diploma from 2013 to 2022 and Package C with a maximum age of 35 years, and the University of Palangka Raya (UPR) for the last three years (2020, 2021, and 2022) for Faculty of Medicine and the last five years (2018, 2019, 2020, 2021, and 2022) for other faculties and package C with a maximum age of 25 years.

The registration period will open from April 1, 2022 and close on June 27, 2022 online with a registration fee of IDR 350,000 through partner banks, namely Bank Mandiri, BNI, BTN, and BSI.

In this enrollment type, prospective students can choose as many as two choices of study programs at one or more PTN. The order in the selection of study programs states the priority of choice.

The selection of the SMM PTN-Barat enrollment will be held on June 30-14 July 2022 offline through the Computer-Based Written Examination (UTBK). The location of the exam is chosen based on the location of the PTN closest to the prospective student.

The selection materials that will be tested include the Science and Technology (Saintek) Exam Group with TPS, English, and Science TKA (Scientific Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, and Biology) exam materials. Meanwhile for the Social and Humanities Examination Group (Soshum) the test materials are TPS, English and TKA Soshum (Geography, History, Sociology, and Economics).

UIN Jakarta on this route offers as many as 26 study programs for the Science and Technology and Soshum groups. The Science and Technology study programs are Agribusiness, Informatics Engineering, Information Systems, Mathematics, Biology, Chemistry, Physics, Public Health, Pharmacy, Nursing, Physician Education, Chemistry Education, Mathematics Education, and Mining Engineering.

Meanwhile, the Soshum group includes Accounting, Economics and Development Studies, International Relations, Journalism, Psychology, Management, Social Welfare, Sociology, Law, Library Science, Political Science, and English Language and Literature. (usa/ns)
