SMA IT Al-Huda Wonogiri Conduct Study Visits to UIN Jakarta
Main Auditorium, UIN News Online – Students from SMA IT Al-Huda Wonogiri conducts study visit to UIN Jakarta, Tuesday, (11/13/2018). The group, led by their Principal Suwito, was welcomed UIN Jakarta’s Academic Affairs Division Head Drs Edy Suandi, Sub-division Head of Academic Information Yusuf, S.Ag, and Sub-division Head of Publication and Documentary UIN Jakarta Samsudin S.Kom at Harun Nasution Auditorium, campus I of UIN Jakarta.
Suwito in his remarks said this activity was held in order to introduce the students to the higher education environments. “Through this activity, we would like to introduce our students into university life, ranging from the faculties, study programs, as well as the academic activities,” he said.
Meanwhile, Edy Suandi in his speech appreciated and expressed his gratitude for the visit. He asserted that visiting UIN Jakarta in order to know and obtain reliable information was the right decision.
In the same place, in charge of delivering the material Drs Nanang Saikhu in his presentation said that in order to be accepted as UIN Jakarta students, prospective students were first selected through several enrollment types.
“There are five enrollment types, namely SNMPTN, SBMPTN, SPAN PTKIN, UM PTKIN, and Local Recruitment. SPAN PTKIN and UM PTKIN only offers religious study programs, while SNMPTN and SBMPTN offers general study programs. As for the Local Recruitment, is one enrollment system that is managed and organized by each university and offer all study programs, both religious and general study programs,” said Nanang.
He also added that all enrollment types are open to all high school / vocational / MA / Islamic boarding school graduates, both public and private.
Based on UIN News Online observation, the participants were very enthusiastic in listening to the presentation delivered by Nanang Saikhu. Some students ask questions related to the faculties and departments, tuition, scholarships, dormitories and other facilities as a learning support instrument provided at UIN Jakarta. (usa)
