Six new professors of UIN Jakarta will be inaugurated in May 20222

Rectorate, UIN News Online – UIN Jakarta has scheduled the inauguration of six new professors in May 2022. The inauguration agenda itself began with a preparatory meeting led by the Rector of UIN Jakarta, Amany Lubis in the main meeting room, campus I of UIN Jakarta, Tuesday (04/19/2022) and attended by Vice Rectors, Bureau Chiefs, Deans, and other structural leaders.

In the meeting, the Chancellor hoped that the committee would prepare the inauguration process as well as possible so that the scheduled activities could be carried out as planned. “Please ensure that the event will run smoothly according to plan,” said Rector Amany.

Referring to the agenda, the six professors who will be inaugurated are Ismatu Ropi, Kusmana, Jajang Jahroni, Ratna Sari Dewi, Amin Nurdin, Saiful Mujani, and Mukri Aji.

Based on UIN Jakarta records, Ismatu Ropi was appointed Professor of Comparative Religion, Kusmana was appointed Professor of the Science of Tafsir al-Quran, and Amin Nurdin as Professor of Sociology of Religion. The three of them are lecturers at the Usuluddin Faculty.

Then, Jajang Jahroni was appointed Professor of Islamic Cultural History and Ratna Sari Dewi as Professor of English Education. Jajang is a lecturer at the Faculty of Adab and Humanities (FAH), while Ratna has a teaching background in the Faculty of Tarbiyah and Teacher Training (FITK).

Saiful Mujani was appointed Professor of Political Science, Faculty of Social and Political Sciences (FISIP) . Meanwhile, Mukri Aji was appointed as Professor of Islamic Jurisprudence at the Faculty of Sharia and Law (FSH). (zm/usa)
