Send-off Ceremony Held for KKN Participants

Main Auditorium, UIN News Online – Social Minister of RI Idrus Marham and Rector of UIN Jakarta Prof Dr Dede Rosyada MA officially send-off all KKN Participants. The send-off ceremony was marked by gong beating on Tuesday, (07/17/2018) at Harun Nasution Auditorium, Campus I of UIN Jakarta.

Rector in his speech appreciated the Social Minister for his willingness on attending the invitation from PPM UIN Jakarta to provides direction as well as to send off all KKN 2018 Participants.

“We are grateful to Social Minister who has taken his time to attend our invitation and provides all necessary direction to all KKN 2018 participants who will start their activities very soon," said Rector.

Rector also advised the KKN participants to maintain the good name of the alma mater and contribute positively to the environment and surrounding communities.

“Try to apply the lecturer research results that would be suitable to be applied in the village where you perform KKN activities," said Dede

In line with Rector, Social Minister also said that KKN activity need to be undertaken seriously, he also hopes that this activity can give a deep positive impression in the village and the environment where KKN was implemented. “By doing so, the sympathy and public interest towards this campus will increase,” said Idrus.

Separately, Center for Community Service (PPM) Chairman of UIN Jakarta Djaka Badranaya said, the number of KKN participants this year reached 3,834 people or as many as 200 groups. They will be deployed in Bogor, West Java, and Tangerang regencies, Banten, with 100 districts each with 100 villages and 10 sub-districts. This regular KKN activity will be held on July 20 to August 23, 2018. (usa)
