Seasoned Translator & Interpreter from UIN Jakarta, Aden Achmaduddin Kamil El-Warits

Jakarta, UIN Online News -  Aden Achmaduddin Kamil El-Warits, B.Hum., QRMP., CISSP, is characterized as an academic, social activist, and language practitioner. He is a notable alumnus of Syarif Hidayatullah State University Jakarta, who graduated with an astonishing Grade Point Average (GPA) of 3.98.

One of his works is a research paper, Penerjemahan Komunikatif Juz Amma ke dalam Bahasa Daerah Madura, which encompasses Arabic translation into regional language. Moreover, he participated in the production of an Arabic-Indonesian dictionary that enhances lexicographic research in Indonesia. Despite his demanding schedule as a translator, he is still making his way into the master's degree in Arabic Language and Literature. 

His proficiency in translating critical papers and facilitating seamless communication between nations underscores his pivotal position in diplomacy and international affairs. Thus, it brings Aden as an entrusted translator and interpreter for the ASEAN Mission at the UAE Embassy in 2024.

Aden is engaged not only in academia but also in social initiatives, establishing several communities dedicated to the advancement of language and art, such as Arabic Corner and K-Meel Corner. These communities function as venues for students to acquire knowledge and develop their capabilities in the linguistics field.  

Additionally, he is currently managing Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) by marketing local goods to empower the community. As a graduate of humanities, he also founded KUFIKU—an art company that is currently selling modern Islamic calligraphy.

Moreover, his commitment to education is manifest in his role as a treasurer of the DPW Forum Komunikasi Diniyah Takmiliyah (FKDT) in Jakarta and as the deputy chairperson for the Empowerment of Santris and Students at the Lembaga Pembinaan Qiraatil Qur’an (LPQQ) in South Tangerang City.

Aden persistently contributes to the advancement of education, culture, and community empowerment via diverse experiences and accomplishments. His strong participation in organizations, research, and social service has placed him as one of the famous UIN Jakarta graduates.

"Education, in my view, transcends the mere acquisition of an academic degree; it encompasses the application of knowledge for the benefit of others," he conveyed.
