Scout of UIN Jakarta Will Hold Scouts Festival
Student Center, UIN News Online - To commemorate its 29th Anniversary, South Jakarta City Front Cluster Scout (Gugus Depan) Movement 07,075-07,076 and Racana Fatahillah-Nyi Mas Council Gandasari UIN Jakarta will hold Scouting Festival on October 20-21, 2018. Festival will be held at UIN Jakarta campus in the form of enterprising achievements for Penegak Scouting and Penggalang Scouts from various school bases in three provincial regions, namely DKI Jakarta, Banten and West Java.
According to the Chairman of the Banu Muhammad Kindy Committee in the Student Center building on Wednesday (9/26/2018), said the Festival activities aimed at not only to encourage high-achieving participants in the field of scouting skills, but also to strengthen the relationship between school-based front cluster groups. Festival activities are also aimed at promoting the UIN Jakarta campus to the public, especially high school students.
"This activity is routinely held every year. Alhamdulillah, the participants were always enthusiastic about registering and participating in the competition, "he said.
Kindy said, Scouting Festival will compete with at least 20 competition points, including semaphore, codes, morse code, pioneering, cooking, appropriate technology, and emergency assistance. The race is divided into two categories, namely for the Penggalang Scouts (male/female) and Penegak Scouts (male / female). For the Penggalang group, the competition will be held on October 20, 2018. While for the Enforcement group will be held on October 21, 2018.
The winners will get prizes in the form of trophies and certificates as well as marks or signs to participate. Even for those who won the overall championship, participants will get a rotating trophy from UIN Jakarta Chancellor Dede Rosyada.
Not only in the form of a race, the 29th Anniversary celebration and Scouting Festival entitled "Great Scout, Cheerful, Active and Achieving" will also be enlivened with food and beverage bazaars and accessories. While the peak of the anniversary will be held on October 27, 2018 at the Harun Nasution Auditorium. (usa-rs)
