Scout of UIN Jakarta Holds GOAL 2019

Student Center, UIN News Online – New candidates for the UIN Jakarta Scout Movement take part in field education activities in the Green Canyon tourist area, Karawang, West Java, on January 17-20, 2019. The activity is a series of Gelar Orientasi Anggota dan Latihan (GOAL) 2019.

The GOAL 2019 release ceremony was led by the coach of Gugus Depan Nanang Saikhu at the Student Center Building on Thursday (01/17/2019). Also present in the event, Coach of Pandega Arief Aryanto Aryadi, Racana Board members, as well as a number of seniors and alumni.

Nanang Syaikhu revealed that the GOAL 20198 participants had already passed the selection process conducted by the Racana Board. After gaining knowledge about scouting, they took part in further activities in the form of physical and survival training.

The participants are expected to gain a lot of life experience. Because, in the process, participants will be invited to appreciate the local wisdom that lives in the community.  “They will mingle with the community, and conducts social service activities,” said Nanang.

For information, the participants will travel from one place to another, before they arrive at the destination, the participants will carry out various social activities in multiple locations they are going through. (usa)
