Scout of UIN Jakarta-Gekraf Tangsel Holds Entrepreneurship Seminar
Student Center, UIN News Online – Scout movement of UIN Jakarta in collaboration with Creative Economy Movement (Gekrafs) of South Tangerang held a seminar on entrepreneurship and the creative economy for students at the Student Center Building, Wednesday (06/01/2022). The seminar is expected to raise the passion and interest of students to become an entrepreneur.
“This seminar is one of the forums and opportunities for students so that they can become drivers of the creative economy in the future. The hope is that in 2045, the vision of a golden Indonesia will be realized,” said the chair of Racana Pramuka Putri council Reini Alifah.
The same thing was said by the chair of Gekraf movement, Ishlah. According to Ishlah, the creative economy seminar aims to create a sense of interest in students to become entrepreneurs. Students can prepare and move in the world of the creative economy.
There are many sub-sectors of the creative economy, he said, including culinary, fashion, craft, applications, film, animation, games, music, advertising, publishing, and performing arts. So, students must be aware of the existing opportunities. They must be able to compete and move in the world of the creative economy.
Only a few universities produce people who are ready to compete, but on the contrary, it produces many unemployed graduates. Therefore, students must be aware of opening new business opportunities in this creative economy.
Damar Teja Ramadhan, a member of the Scout Movement at UIN Jakarta stated that the seminar was very beneficial for students. He also hopes that seminars like this, especially in the creative economy sector in Indonesia, will continue to grow in the future.
“I feel that this creative economy is very useful for students like me,” he said.
Ishlah also said that Gekrafs has the Gekrafs Goes to Campus program. It is hoped that more campuses and students will become pioneers in this field. This is because there are many activities on campus for students, such as photography, broadcasting, culinary, fashion, and crafts.
“Later we will accommodate and hold similar activities to increase the skills of our fellow students,” he concluded. (ns/ha/usa)
