Scholarship 2025: The Ministry of Religious Affairs will soon open the Beasiswa Indonesia Bangkit
Rectorate Building, UIN Online News - Academic civitas at UIN Syarif Hidayatullah Jakarta will be able to use the education scholarship program via the forthcoming registration for the Indonesia Bangkit Scholarship (BIB) 2025. This development follows the scheduling of scholarship registration openings by the Center for Financing of Religious Education and Religious Education (Puspenma) at the Secretariat General of the Ministry of Religious Affairs (Kemenag).
As articulated by the Secretary General of the Ministry of Religious Affairs of the Republic of Indonesia, Prof. Phil. Kamaruddin Amin M.A., Ph.D., in a written statement on Friday (21/3/2025), the registration for the BIB scholarship will commence on Tuesday (1/4/2025).
He elucidated that BIB scholarship is in cooperation between the Ministry of Religious Affairs (Kemenag) and the Education Fund Management Institution (LPDP) of the Ministry of Finance of the Republic of Indonesia (Kemenkeu).
"We aim to offer extensive opportunities for the community within the Ministry of Religious Affairs to pursue higher education, both nationally and internationally, without financial constraints," he stated the objective of the BIB scholarship.
As for its targets, the BIB scholarship recipients will be designated for bachelor's, master's, and doctorate studies, both nationally and internationally, under a fully financed funding plan. The head of Puspenma Kemenag added that there are three categories offered for the participants:

General scholarship is a basic scholarship program intended for the broader civitas within the Ministry of Religious Affairs: students, pupils, university attendees, educators, instructors, lecturers, educational personnel, alumni of religious education, and employees.

Achievement scholarship is dedicated to candidates who possess both academic and non-academic accomplishments, including Al-Qut’an memorization and Olympic championships, at both national and international levels.

Target scholarship is an affirmative scholarship offered via the Santri Berprestasi Scholarship Program (PBSB) and the Long Distance Learning for Undergraduate Program at UIN Syekh Nurjati Cirebon (UIN SSC).
Additionally, prospective applicants are urged to compile several prerequisites, including (1) proficiency in English (TOEFL) or Arabic (TOAFL); (2) a maximum age of 40 years for a master's degree and 45 years for a doctorate degree; (3) possession of a diploma or graduation certificate; (4) affiliation with the civitas of the Ministry of Religious Affairs of the Republic of Indonesia; and (5) submission of additional administrative requirements.
