SBMPTN, UIN Jakarta provides 1206 seats

Rectorate, UIN News Online – UIN Jakarta will accept 1,206 new students through the Joint Enrollment for State Higher Education Entrance (SBMPTN) enrolment type. The quota is spread across 26 study programs or 10 faculties offered.

Details of the quota and study program offered in the SBMPTN are the Faculty of Tarbiyah and Teachers Training Sciences (36 seats for Chemistry education study program and 42 seats for Mathematics Education study program); Faculty of Adab and Humanities (56 seats for Library Science study program and 56 seats for English Language and Literature Study Program); Faculty of Sharia and Law (48 seats for legal science study program); Faculty of Da’wa and Communication Science (48 seats for Social welfare study program and 64 seats for Journalism study program).

Moreover, Faculty of Psychology (80 seats), Faculty of Economics and Business (64 seats for Management study program, 64 seats for Accounting study program, and 48 seats for Economic and Development study program); Faculty of science and Technology (40 seats for Informatics engineering study program, 40 seats for Agribusiness study program, 40 seats for Informatics system study program, 32 seats for Mathematics study program, 24 seats for Biology study program, 48 seats for Chemistry study program, 32 seats for Physics study program, and 24 seats for Mining engineering study program.

Faculty of Health Sciences (48 seats for Public Health study program, 44 seats for Pharmacy study program, and 40 seats for Nursing science study program); Faculty of Medicine (44 seats); and Faculty of Social and Political Sciences (48 seats for Sociology study progam, 48 seats for Political Science study program, and 48 seats for International Relation study program).

For information, SBMPTN is one of the enrollment type for State Universities which is held simultaneously nationally. SBMPTN uses the online Computer Based Writing Test (UTBK) system. The purpose of the UTBK is to predict prospective students who are able to complete their studies in higher education institutions on time as well as to provide the prospective students to flexibly take the test by choosing specific test locations and times.
