Satyalencana Karya Satya Awarding to Devoted UIN Jakarta's Educators and Employees

UIN Jakarta Field, UIN Online News — During the ceremony commemorating the 80th anniversary of the Independence of the Republic of Indonesia, UIN Syarif Hidayatullah Jakarta held a symbolic pinning of the Satyalancana Karya Satya, a medal of honor for educators and employees who have served Indonesia with dedication, loyalty, and integrity for 10, 20, and even 30 years.

The pinning ceremony was performed symbolically by the Rector of UIN Jakarta, Prof. Dr. Asep Saepudin Jahar, M.A., Ph.D., as the Inspector of the Ceremony, accompanied by the Vice Rectors, at the UIN Jakarta Main Field on Sunday (August 17, 2025).

This medal of honor is one of the state honors awarded by the President of the Republic of Indonesia to Civil Servants (PNS) who have demonstrated exceptional proficiency and loyalty for decades.

On that occasion, the Rector of UIN Jakarta, Prof. Dr. Asep Saepudin Jahar, M.A., Ph.D., symbolically pinned the medal and presented the Decree of the President of the Republic of Indonesia to seven representatives of the awardee.

As one of the awardees, the Dean of the Faculty of Medicine, Dr. dr. Achmad Zaki, M.Epid., SpOT., FICS, expressed his gratitude and reflected on his long journey with UIN Syarif Hidayatullah Jakarta. This award serves as a form of appreciation from the state and commitment to making a real contribution to the institution, society, and humanity.

"On this 80th Anniversary of the Republic of Indonesia's Independence, we finally received the 20-Year Service Medal. For us, this is actually a reminder that we served UIN Syarif Hidayatullah Jakarta from 2005 until the end of 2025. This is meant to further boost our morale as we make a positive impact on society and develop the Faculty of Medicine even better. Good, better, best—never let it rest—just as the best of people are those who are most beneficial to others," he stated.

The next awardee of the Satyalancana Karya Satya medal for 30 years of service is Dr. Hj. Amany Burhanuddin Umar Lubis, Lc., M.A., a professor at the Faculty of Sharia and Law at UIN Jakarta.

She expressed her gratitude for the award, explaining that her long journey as a lecturer and educator at UIN Jakarta has become an integral part of her life dedicated to nurturing academic generations and instilling character values. 

"God bless, this year I received the 30-Year Service Medal for Civil Servants at UIN Syarif Hidayatullah Jakarta. The long journey of academy coaching, character building, and mentoring all students along with fellow lecturers is a memorable experience for me. I would also like to express my gratitude to Mr. President for his attention to all civil servants this year. I believe that UIN Jakarta will continue to progress and achieve more accomplishments," she conveyed.

The awarding of this recognition is a form of appreciation for the dedication and contribution of educators and employees in advancing UIN Jakarta as an excellent and globally competitive religious Islamic university.
