Sandwich Program Phase II are Now Open

CIC Building, UIN NEWS Online— Center for International Cooperation and Services (CIC) UIN Jakarta once again held Sandwich Program  for students. Sandwich program is conducted twice a year, which begins in July to November (the start of the first semester) and February to June (beginning of the second semester).

Said the Chairman of the Center for International Cooperation (CIC) Rachmat Baihaky MA, Friday (29/04). "This program is a class Sandwich inserts between UIN Jakarta in cooperation with partner universities, where students of both sides can follow certain courses of study in the context of the completion of at least one semester," he said.

According to data received by the UIN NEWS Online team, schedule Sandwich Programme are as follows, the collection of documents from mid to late February (for first semester) and mid to late September (for the second semester), the selection of the initial document until the second week of March (for the first semester ) and the start until the second week of October (for the second semester), the announcement of the results document the second week to the third week of March (for first semester) and the second week to the third week of October (for the second semester), Interview third week until the end of March (for the first semester ) and the third week until the end of October (for the second semester), the final announcement of the end of March (for first semester), the end of October (for the second semester).

Then, the preparation of the Visa Application Early April to July (for first semester) and the beginning of November to February (for the second semester), Pre-departure Training beginning of April to July (for first semester) and the beginning of November to February (for the second semester).

"UIN students who will go to the partner universities, will be given a series of pre-departure training, including the introduction of the culture, the preparation of the immigration process, training of scientific writing, and language training in accordance with the targeted country" added Rachmat.

Meanwhile, the program financing is borne by UIN Jakarta, includes round-trip ticket, tuition 1 (one) half, accommodation, daily living expenses, fees, books and student clubs. Tuition fees and accommodation of UIN Jakarta sandwich program studentsare paid by the program in accordance with the existing provisions in the partner universities. (NJS)
