Responding pandemic situation, UIN Jakarta provides UKT reduction for students
Rectorate, UIN News Online – The Covid-19 pandemic has impacted all sector, especially economic sector. Responding to this impact, UIN Jakarta provides UKT reduction to its students. In the official announcement of UIN Jakarta Number B-584/R/KS.02/02/2022 dated February 3, 2022, Rector of UIN Jakarta Amany Lubis revealed that UKT waivers were given to semester two to semester eight undergraduate students.
Other provisions, UKT waivers do not apply to scholarship recipient students. The waivers also do not apply to students from the first UKT group or international students. The granting of UKT relief itself refers to the Decree of the Indonesian Minister of Religious Affairs Number 84, 2022 concerning the Second Amendment to the Decree of Indonesian Minister of Religious Affairs Number 515, 2022.
UIN Jakarta also stipulates a number of requirements that must be met by students. In addition to being submitted directly to the Chancellor of UIN Jakarta, the condition of the parents/guardians of students was also proven to be directly affected by the Covid 19 pandemic such as death, termination of employment, business losses, business closures, and a significant decrease in income. All of these situations must be proven by a certificate from the relevant party.
Application can be submitted through https://ais.uinjkt.ac.id/ by attaching the required documents.
The UKT waiver application itself is scheduled to take place from February 3rd-7th 2022. Furthermore, the UKT Team and the Faculty will verify the submission file on February, 8-11th 2022 before being announced on February 14th 2022. (zm/usa)
