Religious Affairs Minister officiated the UIN Jakarta’s PPG building

Bojongsari, UIN News Online – Religious Affairs Minister of Indonesia Lukman Hakim Saifuddin officiated the UIN Jakarta’s Teacher Professional Program (PPG) of the Tarbiya and Teachers Training Faculty (FITK) building on Monday (03/11/2019). The inauguration was marked by gong beating and inscription signing ceremony, witnessed by the Rector of UIN Jakarta Amany Lubis and the Vice Rectors.

Lukman also briefed 700 PPG participants who had undergone their education period since December 2018. He also hopes that the PPG building that has been built to be utilized as soon as possible.

“Hopefully this building can be utilized as soon as possible with various learning activities,” said Lukman.

Previously, Lukman also appreciated the teachers who taught in various religious education in the madrassas. According to Lukman, teachers plays an important role in educating the nation's children. He also advised the teachers to improve their religious insight, knowledge and quality.

On the same occasion, Rector of UIN Jakarta Amany Lubis advised that teachers could continue to improve their performances. A good performance will provide a positive value for the educational advancement in the country.

Amany said that she was promoting a new educational mission in UIN Jakarta, the mission is to Increase student capacity. In addition to the capacity that students have to achieve, it also emphasizes the importance of student integrity and moral education.

“Hopefully this mission could develop UIN Jakarta to be better,” she said. (usa)
