Registration for National Selection Based on Achievement (SNBP) Has Been Opened, Here are the Steps

Jakarta, UIN Online News - Following the closure of registration and PDSS completion, SNPMB (National Selection for New Student Admissions) performed an information dissemination on the SNBP (National Selection Based on Achievement) 2025 registration procedure via a Zoom meeting and live streaming on Monday (03/02/2025).

This event was attended by the Chairman of the SNPMB Committee Team, Prof. Dr. Ir. Eduart Wolok B.Eng., M.Eng., the Executive Chairman of SNPMB, Prof. Tjitjik Sri Tjahjandarie, Ph.D., the Coordinator of the National Selection Based on Achievement (SNBP), Dr. Riza Satria Perdana B.Eng., M.Eng., the Deputy Coordinator of the SNPMB Portfolio, Achmad Syarief, Ph.D., and moderated by the Coordinator of Public Relations and Promotion of SNPMB, Dr. Ismaini Zain, M.Sc.

At the commencement of the event, Prof. Tjitjik Sri Tjahjandarie firmly announced that there would be no postponement for registration and PDSS completion this year. SNPMB opted to implement tighter regulations and greater penalties as a means of appreciating the schools that have adhered to the timetable appropriately. “This year, let us all exhibit greater discipline to avoid any extensions,” said Prof. Tjitjik.

Afterwards, Dr. Riza Satria Perdana explained the registration process for SNBP 2025. The SNBP registration is scheduled from February 4 to 18, 202, and it can be done by students. The registration procedure may be accelerated provided that all information is complete and students have selected their major and destination university in the first place.

Procedures for SNBP 2025 Registration:

Initially, access the SNPMB portal at https://snbp.snpmb.id/ by logging in. To use the SNBP 2025 application, student must own a permanently active SNPMB account, and must be an eligible student whose grades on the report card has been filled in the PDSS by the school, and must be a graduate of 2025.

Secondly, Authenticate Profile Details. Upon fulfilment of the requirements, the student profile page will be shown. Ensure that all data is accurate, since it cannot be revised thereafter.

The third is the selection of Academic Programmes.  Select a State University, Islamic State University, or State Polytechnic along with the preferred academic programme.  Students may pick study programmes without limits based on majors. However, they are limited to a maximum of two programmes, one of which must be located in the same province as their original school. Students may choose one programme from any province regardless its location. Then, select "Save All Choices" if the choices are correct.

The fourth is the portfolio submission. It is only required just for prospective students selecting art or sports programmes that require a portfolio. Portfolios can be posted using the "Portfolio" option.

The fifth is the achievement submission. It is accessible via the '"Achievements" menu. A maximum of three achievements, accompanied by a brief description, must be posted. Files may be in PDF, PNG, JPG, or JPEG format, with a maximum size limit of 100MB.

The sixth is the final submission. Students will be required to confirm the accuracy of all submitted data. Upon the last step, all data and programme choices that will be submitted are fixed. After that, the participant card will be accessible for download.

Dr. Riza also noted that this is a positive news since the quantity of offered study programmes and their capacity have both grown compared to the prior year. Dr. Riza said, as he encourages students in this admission program "Luck happens when preparation meets opportunity,".
