Registration Closing Soon: Prospective Students Urged to Complete UM-PTKIN Applications

Rectorate Building, UIN Online News Registration for UIN Syarif Hidayatullah Jakarta's entrance exam through the State Islamic Religious Higher Education Entrance Exam (UM-PTKIN) is set to close on Saturday, June 15, 2024. Prospective students are encouraged to utilize the remaining time to apply through the UM-PTKIN pathway.

Prof. Dr. Ahmad Tholabi, S.Ag., S.H., M.H., M.A., Vice Rector for Academic Affairs at UIN Syarif Hidayatullah Jakarta, urged prospective students to take advantage of this opportunity in his message. "There are only a few days left, so I encourage all those interested in studying at UIN Jakarta to register as soon as possible," he stated.

According to the schedule set by the UM-PTKIN Central Committee, registration for the entrance exam runs from April 17 to June 15, 2024. During the same period, applicants can finalize their registration from June 17-19, 2024.

The UM-PTKIN Computer-Based Test (CBT) is scheduled to take place from June 24 to 30, 2024. Exam schedules will be listed on each participant's exam card and conducted at the PTKIN/PTN exam centers chosen by the participants according to the established guidelines. The selection results will be announced on July 8, 2024.

Prospective students can register directly through the UM-PTKIN 2024 registration website (https://um.ptkin.ac.id/home) with a registration fee of IDR 200,000.

The registration process is as follows:

  1. Create a UM-PTKIN account. Select "Register" for new applicants with a National Student Identification Number (NISN) who do not have a SPAN-PTKIN account. The username and password will be sent to the email provided during registration.
  2. Log in using the username/NISN and password.
  3. Complete the online biodata at https://um.ptkin.ac.id/ or use the UM-PTKIN 2024 Android mobile app to obtain an invoice and virtual account (VA) number, along with payment instructions.
  4. Pay the registration fee at Bank Mandiri or other banks:
    • At Bank Mandiri: payments can be made at any Mandiri branch teller, Mandiri ATMs, or via LIVIN by Mandiri by entering the VA/payment code.
    • At other banks: payments can be made at ATMs or via transfer to the VA number at non-Mandiri banks that support inter-bank transfers. (Additional fees may apply depending on the bank partner.)
  5. Receive a payment receipt. The registration fee is non-refundable.
  6. Continue the online registration at https://um.ptkin.ac.id/ or through the UM-PTKIN 2024 Android app by checking the payment status, then proceed to select the study program and PTKIN/PTN exam center, and print the exam card.
  7. Participate in the UM-PTKIN CBT at the chosen PTKIN/PTN exam center.

The UM-PTKIN exam will cover four aspects: academic reasoning, mathematical reasoning, reading literacy, and Islamic teachings literacy.

30 Outstanding Study Programs

Furthermore, the Dean of the Faculty of Sharia and Law, Prof. Dr. Ade Abdul Hak, M.Hum., CInQR., announced that UIN Syarif Hidayatullah Jakarta offers 30 study programs through the UM-PTKIN pathway. These programs include both Islamic-based and general disciplines integrated with science.

These programs have produced numerous graduates who excel in various professional fields. Many of the offered programs hold A or Excellent accreditation.
