Regiment Student Wiradharma Holds Youth Carnival in South Tangerang

Auditorium, UIN NEWS Online – Student Regiment Wiradharma Sarif Hidayatullah State Islamic University Jakarta in collaboration with State Minister of Youth and Sports held Youth Carnival 2018 in South Tangerang on Wednesday (11/7/18). The event entitled “Youth Contribution for The Country in Diversity”.

The event is attended by State Minister of Youth and Sports Expert Staff Zaenul Muhaimin, Vice Rector for Student Affairs Yusron Razak, Military District Commander of South Tangerang, special staff of South Tangerang Government, students, scouts, student regiment, and also Cholidi Asadil Alam, cast of character Azzam in Ketika Cinta Bertasbih Movie, as the guest star. Various traditional arts are performed, such as traditional dance of South Tangerang, Tari Anggrek, and Minang dance. In addition, acoustic music is also perfomed by members of Tarbiyah Art Corner, Faculty of Educational Sciences.

State Minister of Youth and Sports Staff  Zaenul Muhaimin greatly appreciated the progress of the youth who dedicated themselves to the nation. Youth are expected to be able to maintain unity of nation, unity in diversity and diversity in unity. “Youth must be the pinoeers and drivers of development.” Said Zaenul.

At the end of the carnival, participants held an act of declaration to strengthen the sense of national unity, especially among Indonesian youth. Declaration actions were also carried out to show that Indonesian youth are ready to face challenges in the present and future.

Youth Carnival 2018 aims to increase youth unity and patriotism in harmony with the meaning of Bhinneka Tunggal Ika. And to promote youth creativity as part of efforts to empower the potential of youth and encourage the optimization of regional potential through the role of youth who are synergizing with the related stakeholders.
