Rector: UIN Jakarta is determined to become one of the world-class reputable campuses
Bogor, UIN News Online – Rector of UIN Jakarta Amany Lubis said, UIN Jakarta is determined to become one of the world-class reputable campuses. This target relates to the Global Promise for a Quality Education.
“Therefore, we focus on providing quality education for all students, including the social, emotional, mental, physical, and cognitive development of each student regardless of gender, socioeconomic status, geographic location, race, and ethnicity,” said Rector Amany in her opening speech at the UIN Jakarta Rakerpim event, held at Cisarua, Bogor, West Java, Monday (03/07/2022).
The Rakerpim, said Rector Amany, is one of UIN Jakarta's efforts to realize innovation and transformation of UIN Jakarta towards global recognition in accordance with the theme of this Rakerpim. This theme is an important part of UIN Jakarta's long-term vision as a World Class University and is in accordance with the 2020-2024 strategic plan.
In addition, Rector also mentioned the Five Golden Programs of UIN Jakarta which is an effort developed in 2021 to achieve global recognition.
“We developed this program as an acceleration effort to make UIN Jakarta as a leading university in accordance with the spirit of the Global Promise for a Quality Education” she said.
Therefore, the Five Golden Programs must also be developed as a measurable parameter that is compiled with reference to world-class university indicators.
The five golden programs, said the Chancellor, are strategic targets that must be achieved. This is based on the performance of UIN Jakarta in 2021. The five gold programs are as follows.
First, teaching excellence. Second, maximizing research and publications in reputable international journals. Third, human resource qualification improvement. Fourth, fine infrastructure that supports teaching excellence and research productivity. As for the fifth program, collaboration with various universities and industries at home and abroad.
This collaboration covers the fields of education, research, community service, and fostering independence for students, especially the entrepreneurial culture,” said Rector. (usa/ns)
