Rector: UIN Jakarta Continued to Generate New Islamic Professionals
Main Auditorium, UIN News Online – UIN Jakarta graduates are expected to be able to work in professional area.  However, as graduates of the Islamic University, we also hope the graduates can work on a basis of Islamic ethics and the spirit of Islam. Therefore, we expected the UIN Jakarta scholar to become an Islamic Professional.
It was conveyed by the Rector of UIN Jakarta Prof Dr Dede Rosyada MA while giving a speech at the 103rd Graduation Ceremony at at Harun Nasution Auditorium, Campus I UIN Syarif Hidayatullah Jakarta, Jl. Ir. H. Juanda No. 95, Ciputat, South Tangerang.
“UIN Jakarta graduates must be ready to work in a variety of professions, both in scientific and expertise, without having to cut off their moral identity as a Muslim,†said Dede.
On the same occasion, Rector also expressed his gratitude and appreciation to all teachers and educational staff of UIN Jakarta on their commitment and totality in carrying out the task to serve and educate the students until they finished their study.
He also added that UIN Jakarta already held the work meeting (RAKERPIM) in the beginning of 2017 to discussed the working plan implementation for this 2017 fiscal year. “On the occasion, we agreed on a new tagline for UIN Jakarta, which is globality, autonomy and humanity,†he explained.
This new tagline reflects of efforts to to develop UIN Jakarta as a destination of Islamic studies and science.
“We wanted to show that UIN Jakarta can be appeared on global academic map for its scientific tradition and the quality of its graduates that is recognized by the public,†he said. (rs)
