Rector sends PIONIR contingent to Malang

Main Auditorium, UIN News Online – Rector of UIN Jakarta Amany Lubis, accompanied by Vice Rector for Student Affairs Masri Mansoer send-off the UIN Jakarta contingent who will compete in the 9th Science, Sport and Research Week (PIONIR) 2019. Also present in the event, Head of Student and Alumni Affairs Division Ikhwan and Sub-division Head of Talent Development and Student Interest Arief Ariyanto Ariadi.

Rector in her remarks hoped that this activity could have a positive impact on improving the non-academic achievements of UIN Jakarta students. She also expects the students to maintain the good sportsmanship.

“I am quite happy with various student activities, especially those that can improve non-academic achievements. But don't forget, academic achievement is also very important for your future,” said Amany to the participants.

For information, UIN Jakarta sent as many as 115 athletes / participants with 10 officials and one contingent leader. They will compete in 32 branches of the competition, both in the field of sports, art and research. The IX PIONIR will be held on July 15-21 2019 at UIN Malang. (usa/ns)
