Rector opens the internal quality audit socialization

Ciputat, UIN News Online – Rector of UIN Jakarta Amany Lubis officially opened the Internal Quality Audit (AMI) socialization on Monday (06/08/2020). She hopes that the AMI can be optimally implemented in maintaining the academic quality offered to the public.

The Rector in her remarks remarks emphasized the importance of AMI to be carried out as well as possible by all academic quality assurance stakeholders. This is because academic quality is the core of higher education. “This activity is considered vital for the sustainability of UIN Jakarta, which continuously strives to improve their academic quality,” said Rector.

The Rector also reminded that academic implementation and quality improvement at the level of study programs, faculties, and universities were carried out by paying attention to details. In addition, the Rector also expressed her gratitude and appreciation to all parties who always contributed in improving academic quality in the UIN Jakarta environment.

Meanwhile, the Head of LPM UIN Jakarta Muhammad Zuhdi explained, the AMI 2020 activities will be held on June 19 to July 17, 2020. This activity will involve 78 study programs in 12 faculties and one graduate school.

Furthermore, Zuhdi said that AMI's activities in 2020 were an important part of the UIN Jakarta's internal quality assurance system. This assurance system refers to the nine quality criteria formulated by the National Accreditation Board for State Universities or BAN-PT.

To facilitate various parties in managing academic quality in each study program, he continued, LPM UIN Jakarta has launched The System of Internal Quality Assurance application or SIQA, which can be accessed through https://siqa-uinjkt.id/.

“This system will help study programs in sharing their data and information related to the current conditions of each study program,” he said. (usa/zm)
