Rector officiates the 2022 UIN Jakarta pre rakerpim event
Syahida Inn, UIN News Online – Rector of UIN Jakarta Amany Lubis officiates the 2022 UIN Jakarta pre rakerpim event titled “Mewujudkan Inovasi dan Transformasi UIN Syarif Hidayatullah Jakarta untuk Rekognisi Global”, held at Syahida Inn of UIN Jakarta on Tuesday (03/01/2022). The opening ceremony was attended by Vice Rectors, Deans, heads of study programs, secretaries of study programs, and bureau chiefs.
The chairman of the Rakerpim committee, Jajang Jahroni, said that the Pre-Rakerpim the Pre-Rakerpim would last until Tuesday (03/02/2022). “Insha Allah, the Rakerpim will be held in Bogor, West Java, on March 7-9, 2022,” he said.
Jajang also added that the Pre-Rakerpim agenda will invites a number of speakers, among them are Director of the National Research and Innovation Agency (BRIN) Prof. Ahmad Najib Burhani, Secretary of the Institute for Development and Quality Assurance of Education (LP2MP) Diponegoro University Semarang Paramita Prananingtyas, Director of Operations Pertamina Foundation Yulius S Bulo , Director of Human Resources Universitas Airlangga Surabaya Endang Dewi Masithah, and Director of the Directorate of Business Development and Incubation at Gadjah Mada University Yogyakarta Hargo Utomo.
“They will provide various inputs and experience regarding internationalization,” he added.
The Pre-Rakerpim also discussed various aspects for the development of UIN Jakarta which were divided into five commissions. Commission I discusses the Strengthening of International Accreditation, Commission II on Improving Research and Community Service Research, Commission III on Asset Optimization and Business Development, Commission IV on Strengthening the Information System of UIN Jakarta, and Commission V on Actualization of Student Academic and Non-Academic Achievements and Optimizing the Roles of Alumni.
Rector of UIN Jakarta Amany Lubis in her opening remarks said, UIN Jakarta is currently trying to trannsform into international Islamic university. In order to realize this effort, various strategic steps are needed, such as strengthening the internationalization of study program accreditation and digital transformation of the Electronic-Based Government System (SPBE).
The Chancellor hopes that the Pre-Rakerpim and Rakerpim can be used as a reference in the future development of UIN Jakart. This effort is also to support the seven priority programs of the Indonesian Ministry of Religious Affairs (MORA) in 2022, namely Strengthening Religious Moderation, Digital Transformation, Revitalizing the Office of Religious Affairs, Cyber Islamic University, Islamic Boarding School Independence, Religiousity Index, and the Declaration of the Year of Tolerance 2022.
“UIN Jakarta must support the implementation of the programs,” said Rector.
Another important thing from the Rakerpim, according to the Chancellor, is to evaluate the performance in 2021 and encourage the quality improvement of UIN Jakarta.
For the peak event which will be held on March 7-9 in Bogor, UIN Jakarta will invite a number of speakers, among them are Indonesian Minister of Religious Affairs Yaqut Cholil Qoumas, Indonesian Minister of Tourism and Creative Economy Sandiaga Uno, Rector of Gadjah Mada University Yogyakarta Panut Mulyono, Secretary General of the Indonesian Ministry of Religious Affairs Nizar Ali, and Director General of Islamic Education of the Indonesian Ministry of Religious Affairs Muhammad Ali Ramdhani.
