Rector Officiated PBAK 2018

Ciputat,  UIN NEWS   Online-   Rector of UIN Jakarta Prof. Dr. Dede Rosyada officially opened the introduction of the Academic and Student Culture (PBAK) for new students 2018/2019 academic on Monday (08/27/2018) at campus I of UIN Jakarta. The opening was marked by the gong beating ceremony.

Rector in his speech appreciated the students who managed to set aside hundreds of thousands of other prospective students. "I also advised that you use the study time as best as possible," he said.

Rector also added, if today there are thousands of new students who have passed the selection, in the next two months there will be hundreds or even thousands of students who become scholars, namely the 110th graduation. For this reason the Rector advised new students who would begin the lecture in early September.

"Please learn from now, develop the skills you have. Because at this time, linearity is not a benchmark, but more on individual abilities and skills," he said.

PBAK's opening ceremony which was attended by more than 6,000 new students took place lively. The opening was attended by Vice Rectors, deans and Deputy Deans, as well as all academic community of UIN Jakarta. Also present in the event, Transportation Minister of the Republic of Indonesia, Ir Budi Karya Sumadi, who gave a speech while giving several prizes to the newly elected students. PBAK activities will take place until 30 August 2018. (usa-rs)
