Rector of UIN Jakarta wins the 2021 Indonesian Inspiring Woman award
Jakarta, UIN News Online – The Indonesian Muslim Women Entrepreneurs Association or IPEMI awarded the 2021 Indonesian Inspiring Woman award to the Rector of UIN Jakarta Amany Lubis. She is considered to represent the participation of women in the nation's higher education sector.
The award was given directly by the Chairperson of IPEMI Ingrid Kansil with the Secretary General of IPEMI Nurwahidah Saleh at the 2021 Indonesian Inspiring Women Award in Jakarta, Wednesday (12/15/2021). The award was received directly by the Rector's mother, Professor Nabilah Lubis, representing the Rector who is unable to attend.
“This award is dedicated for women who have made a significant contribution to the nation,” said Ingrid
According to Ingrid, the role of these women emphasizes their important contribution to the nation. “They deserve the highest appreciation because they have a concern for advancing people's lives,” she said.
Separately, Rector Amany expressed her gratitude for the award given by IPEMI as one of the Inspiring Women 2021. “This award motivated us further to contribute to the nation through the education and community sectors. This effort has been dedicated as a service that must be donated to the nation,” said Rector.
In addition to Amany Lubis, there are several other female figures who also received awards, among them are Chairperson of the Indonesian Women's Congress (Kowani) Giwo Rubianto Wyogo, politician Marissa Grace Haque, and Regent of Luwu Indah Putri Indriani. (usa/zm)
