Rector of UIN Jakarta will deliver her speech at the international virtual conference

Ciputat, UIN News Online – Rector of UIN Jakarta Amany Lubis is scheduled to deliver her speech at the international webinar and virtual conference of fiqh at-Thowary, organized by the Muslim World League and the United Emirates Council for Fatwa and Sharia, Sunday (07/19/2020).

By raising the theme on ‘Emergency Fiqh: Issues if the Post-Corona Era’, this webinar is considered as the largest efforts by Muslim scholars worldwide to create a unified Sharia-based response to various legal and social issue arising because of the Covid-19 pandemic.

The participants will study the issues affected by the Covid-19 pandemic and come up with jurisprudence to achieve their desired goals, by taking into consideration to the current situation.

It is known that the spread of Covid-19 is quite massive. Not only resulted in thousands of deaths, this pandemic also resulted in hundreds of thousands of people being infected to this virus.
