Rector of UIN Jakarta Congratulates the Newly Appointed Rectors of PTKIN

Jakarta, UIN Online News - Prof. Asep Saepudin Jahar, M.A., Ph.D., the Rector of Syarif Hidayatullah State Islamic University Jakarta, attended the inauguration of four rectors of State Islamic Religious Universities (PTKIN) at the Ministry of Religious Affairs office on Monday (24/3/2025).

Prof. Asep Saipudin Jahar, representing the academic community of UIN Syarif Hidayatullah Jakarta, expressed congratulations and best wishes for success to these new rectors for the tenure of 2025-2029. 

1. Prof. Dr. Zaenal Mustakim, M.Ag., as the Rector of UIN KH Abdurrahman Wahid Pekalongan
2. Prof. Dr. Danial, M.Ag., as the Rector of IAIN Lhokseumawe
3. Prof. Dr. Ida Umami, M.Pd Kons. as the Rector of IAIN Metro Lampung
4. Prof. Dr. Evi Muafiah, M.Ag., as the Rector of IAIN Ponorogo

This inauguration marked a significant occasion to enhance the role of PTKIN in cultivating a distinguished generation. Therefore, he further underscored the bureaucratic efficacy and efficiency, the enhancement of da'wah ideals, and the focus on the campus environment.

"These rectors are distinguished scholars with an exemplary history in Islamic higher education. Thereby, I believe, with their expertise and visionary leadership, they will successfully advance their institutions," he commended.

In the end, the Rector of UIN Jakarta expected that the newly appointed rectors would accordingly fulfill their responsibilities and advance the PTKIN during their tenure. Under the Ministry of Religious Affairs, they will guide each of their institutions to the alignment of Islam and modern science.

"As the rector of the State Islamic Religious Universities (PTKIN), let us collaboratively build a competitive academic ecosystem in Indonesia,'" he closed.
