Rector of UIN Jakarta inaugurates two Vice Rectors
Main Auditorium, UIN News Online – Rector of UIN Jakarta Amany Lubis, inaugurated Arief Subhan as Vice Rector for Student Affairs and Lily Surayya Eka Putri as Vice Rector for Cooperation and Institutional Development of UIN Jakarta for the period of 2021-2023 on Friday (02/19/2021), held at Main Auditorium, campus I of UIN Jakarta. They were appointed to replace Masri Mansoer and Andi Faisal Bakti.
Present in the event, Vice Rector for Academic Affairs Zulkifli, Vice Rector for General Administration Ahmad Rodoni, Director of Graduate School (SPs) of UIN Jakarta Asep Saepudin Jahar, Faculty Deans, Bureau Chiefs, and and other invited guests.
Rector Amany in her remarks said that the appointment of the two Vice Rectors is considered very important, this is due to UIN Jakarta must continue to develop its performance in 2021. Furthermore, UIN Jakarta has been determined to transform its status into a Legal Entity State University (PTN BH).
“This can be realized with synergy, commitment, and strong efforts from all academic community of UIN Jakarta,” said Rector.
She also added that UIN Jakarta has a vision and mission to become a globally recognized campus. “Insha Allah, with our hard work and efforts, we can accomplish it as soon as possible,” she added.
To the newly appointed Vice Rector for Student Affairs Arief Subhan, Rector entrusted him to carry all duties required to overcome various student problems. In addition, he is also required to raise the achievements of UIN Jakarta students both at local and international levels.
“Currently, there are many excellent students at UIN Jakarta who are preparing to achieve world recognition. For this reason, student affairs is at the spearhead in developing the reputation of UIN Jakarta, both now and in the future,” said Rector Amany.
To the newly appointed Vice Rector for Cooperation and Institutional Development Lily Surayya Eka Putri, Rector entrusted her to carry all duties required to develop business units, academic and non-academic achievements that will be jointly designed in accordance with the big ideals of UIN Jakarta.
“Therefore, we really look forward to innovation, creativity, and all transformations in order to further strengthen UIN Jakarta,” she said.
On the same occasion, Rector also expressed her deepest gratitude and appreciation to the former Vice Rector of Student Affairs Masri Mansoer and former Vice Rector for Cooperation and Institutional Development Andi Faisal Bakti for their work and dedication during the last two years in developing UIN Jakarta. “Your hard work and dedications will be recorded as an integral parts of the university,” said Rector Amany.
