Rector of UAI Visits NICT Building

NICT, UIN News Online – Rector of Al-Azhar University Indonesia Asep Saefudin visit the NICT/Pustiknas Building Ciputat on Monday (08/22/2022).

His visit was made in order to observe the readiness which was selected as a temporary residence for the Indonesian Ministry of Education and Technology's 2022 Merdeka Student Exchange Program participants.

Accompanied by Vice Rector for Academic Affairs Zirmansyah, Vice Rector for Resources Ade Suryanti, Vice Rector for Student And Alumni Affairs Faisal Hendra, and Vice Rector for Innovation and Cooperation Jamal, Asep’s visit was received directly by the Vice Rector for Cooperation and Institutional Development of UIN Jakarta Lily Surayya Ekaputri.

During the visit, Rector Asep observed a number of facilities provided in the NICT. Starting from the participant's bedroom, elevator, water supply to toilets.

It is known, UAI requested permission to use the Pustiknas Building to place 114 students participating in the Indonesian Ministry of Education and Technology's 2022 Merdeka Student Exchange Program.

All students come from a number of national universities from various regions such as Malikussaleh University, Hairun University, and Cendrawasih University. According to the plan, the 114 students will occupy the Pustiknas from September 14, 2022 to January 30, 2023.

“We express our gratitude to the Rector of UIN Jakarta for allowing us to use the NICT/PUSTIKNAS Dormitory for Inbound Program Students at Al-Azhar University Indonesia,” said Asep.

Representing the leadership of UIN Jakarta, Vice Rector Lily welcomed UAI's trust in entrusting 114 UAI inbound program students to the Pustiknas Building. “Hopefully the available facilities can support the implementation of the program,” said Lily. (zm/usa)
