Rector inaugurates the opening of student cooperative week

FSH, UIN News Online – Rector of UIN Jakarta Amany Lubis inaugurates the opening of student cooperative week, Thursday (10/03/2019), at FSH building, campus I of UIN Jakarta. The inauguration event was marked by ribbon cutting ceremony by the Rector, who was accompanied by the Ministry of Cooperatives and Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSME) Secretary Rully Indrawan.

This activity aims to popularize cooperative organizations for students. In addition, this activity is expected to foster the cooperatives and entrepreneurial spirit among students.

n addition to the exhibition, the event was also filled with a national seminar entitled “Bersinergi Bersama Koperasi Mewujudkan Jiwa Usaha Generasi Muda Emas dalam Persaingan Global di Industri 4.0”.

Rector in her remarks highly appreciates the holding of this event. According to Rector, UIN Jakarta will continue to support student efforts in cooperative activities. “This activity will provide new experiences for the students and fostering their entrepreneurial spirit,” said Rector.

Meanwhile, Rully Indrawan Rully Indrawan said that cooperatives have become one of the needs and will continue to grow throughout the time.

“As a young generation, students are very likely to be the pioneers of cooperatives movement in Indonesia,” said Rully. (usa/ns)
