Rector delegates 60 students as the Mobil Masker movement Ambassadors
Rectorate, UIN News Online – UIN Jakarta, along with the National Disaster Management Agency (BNPB) and the COVID‑19 Response Acceleration Task Force conducted masks distribution activity through the Mobil Masker movement on Thursday (08/12/2021).
As many as 60 students were delegated by the Rector as Ambassadors in this activity. The release ceremony the release ceremony itself was held at the IS Plaza Graha BNPB building on Jalan Pramuka, Jakarta.
In addition to distributing masks, the students will provide education about 3M, especially how to wear masks properly and correctly to the public. She also said that students must have a sense of care and need to play an active role in breaking the chain of Covid-19 infection in the community.
“In addition to producing excellent graduates, UIN Jakarta also produces volunteers who are ready to assist in handling pandemics or other disasters,” she said.
She also added that this movement is an effort to support government programs as stated by Indonesian President Joko Widodo.
“This program aims to improve community discipline in carrying out health protocols, especially the invitation to always wear masks,” said Rector Amany.
This activity will target several locations in Central, West, North, East and South Jakarta and will be distributed in several places of community activity such as traditional markets, street vendors, terminals and stations.
Currently, wearing masks is no longer a lifestyle, but has become an obligation. Through this activity, it is hoped that public awareness and discipline in implementing health protocols can be further increased. (usa/hadid/sam/mf)
